Missy Elliott Nominated for Songwriters Hall of Fame

Missy Elliott is officially the first female rapper nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame!  The class of 2019 was announced yesterday. Along with Elliot, it includes Mariah Carey, Vince Gill, Mike Love from the Beach Boys, Chrissie Hynde, Lloyd Price, the Eurythmics and more.  Six nominees will be inducted in a ceremony in New York on June 13th, 2019.
