Vanessa Bryant celebrated Mary J. Blige’s 50th birthday with a special throwback post featuring her husband, Kobe Bryant.
Bryant posted a picture of the three of them at the 90th Annual Academy Awards Governors Ball at Hollywood when Kobe won an Academy Award for “Dear Basketball” and Blige was nominated for her role in Mudbound.
A black and white photo was also posted by Bryant of her and Blige at the Night of Sisterhood, which benefits the American Cancer Society.
“Happy birthday!!!! Love you! (tb pic for the people that need this note….)” Bryant captioned the photos and pointed out to fans that the pictures were pre-COVID.
