Usher Eyes Super Bowl Half-Time Show: ‘That Moment Will Happen’

Usher is finally leaning into the idea of playing at Super Bowl LVIII.
He was a top choice earlier this year in an online debate about who should headline, with many highlighting his iconic discography and his versatility as an artist and a performer.
“I think I have a catalog that obviously speaks for itself,” he told Access, “So to be able to celebrate on that day…it’s obviously about football, but everybody really anticipates the performance … so it has always been kind of a bucket list [dream of mine].”
Songs like “Yeah!”, “DJ’s Got Us Falling In Love” and “You Make Me Wanna” would certainly play well in front of that massive crowd.
