People In Toronto Hoping For Collab After Drake Wishes The Weeknd Happy Birthday

The Weeknd celebrated his 31st birthday on Tuesday (February 16th) and fans were surprised by Drake’s birthday wish.

Drake posted an older picture of him and The Weeknd in the studio to his Instagram Stories with the caption, “More Life to the XO genna. @theweeknd.”

Fans quickly took to the post with hopes of a collaboration between the two Toronto natives on Drake’s upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy. 

Drake was a mentor to The Weeknd when he entered the music scene but there were rumors of a rift between the two, however in recent years whatever beef they had seemingly subsided.
