Reports are suggesting that Netflix cut a huge check to Tyler Perry to bring ‘Madea’ out of retirement.

Tyler Perry has signed on for a 12th movie featuring his iconic character ‘Madea’.

The last time ‘Madea’ appeared on screen was in 2019 for ‘A Madea Family Funeral’ which made over $75 million.

Twitter had a field day with the news. Many tweets suggest the ‘retirement’ was too short.

Which movie from the ‘Madea’ franchise do you like the most? Which one was the worst movie out of the franchise?
