If your Oreos, Ritz, etc., are out of stock at the store, it’s because the Nabisco workers are on strike.
Over 200 employees are striking after failing to negotiate a deal with their brand’s parent company.
The main issue employees are dealing with is the company’s plan to remove overtime and weekend pay. Instead, they want to opt for 40-hour weeks, resulting in longer shifts and less pay.
“We’re not on strike to secure huge gains. We’re on strike to keep what we’ve already got,” one union rep said in a statement.
