McDonald’s Planning Spin-Off Restaurant Called ‘CosMc’s’

McDonald’s is getting ready to open a spinoff restaurant chain called ‘CosMc’s’.
CEO Chris Kempczinski described it as “a small-format concept with all the DNA of McDonald’s but its own unique personality”.
The name is taken from the mostly-forgotten McDonaldland character CosMc, a space alien who first appeared in the 1980’s.
CosMc’s will debut a “small handful of sites” early next year.
