Kanye West’s New $57.3 Million Compound Is a Livable Work of Art With Tiny Garage

As Kanye West’s DONDA continues to move up the musical charts, the rapper has quietly purchased a new $53.7 million concrete compound on Puerco Beach in Malibu, California, the only thing missing is a garage.

The compound was designed by Japanese architect Tandao Ando, who is known to have “reinvented concrete.”

The home looks like a concrete bunker and was built by Marmol Radziner based on Ando’s design. It was originally purchased by Wall Street financier Richard Sachs who bought it in 2003 for $1.9 million, he poured millions into the structure to keep it from sinking.

The one thing Radziner didn’t bother to do was to include a driveway or big garage, there is only space for one car. The beachfront property is 3,665 square feet and has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.

What is your dream home? Would you build on a beach?
