Hulu Backtracks On Astroworld Documentary, Takes It Down Following Backlash

Hulu is backtracking on putting out an Astroworld documentary after Twitter calls the move, “insensative” and “a cash grab.”

Astroworld: Concert From Hell was removed from Hulu’s listing shortly after it was added to the streaming network. Viewers took to Twitter to blast the network for putting out a documentary on the festival while victims still remain unburied and the investigation is still taking place.

“Filming a series about #ASTROWORLD in the midst of tragedy is wildly insensitive. Families are still mourning, festival-goers are still traumatized, and some victims haven’t even been laid to rest yet. ABC and HULU saw their trauma as a cash grab. Cold world,” one user tweeted.

“Travis Scott’s Astroworld Festival was supposed to be the concert of a lifetime,” reads the synopsis on Hulu. “But it turned into a tragic nightmare. A minute-by-minute look at what happened in the crowd, the young victims who were killed, and what happens next.”

Do you think a documentary should ever be done on the Astroworld Festival, even after the investigation is over?
