The Hub City not only saw several inches of snow yesterday, but a flurry of WINNING as the only lottery player in the nation to win a $1 million prize in the Feb. 20 Powerball drawing bought their ticket in HAGERSTOWN!

No one hit the jackpot, which rolled to $304 million for the Saturday, Feb. 23 drawing.

According to the MD Lottery, The winning numbers were 27, 49, 50, 51 and 52; the Power Ball was 2. Lottery officials encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket immediately and put it in a safe location. The winner has 182 days to claim the prize in person at Lottery headquarters, located at 1800 Washington Blvd. in Baltimore.

      This is Maryland’s first $1 million Powerball win of 2019. In 2018, Maryland had one $1 million winner and in 2017 the state celebrated two $1 million Powerball winners. Maryland is home to two Powerball jackpot wins: $128.8 million in December 2011 (Elkton, Cecil County) and $108.8 million in September 2011 (Abingdon, Harford County).
