G-Eazy has a new friend in his life, an eight-month-old pit bull named Phoenix, who was rescued from an abusive homeless man.

Phoenix had been posted on the Labelle Foundation website for two months with no inquiries. G saw the listing and reached out to the foundation through a mutual friend and he soon drove to the foundation to meet the pooch.

The first stop for the new friends was to Beachwood Market near the Hollywood sign for a bite to eat.

Phoenix had been saved by a good samaritan who saved the pup from a homeless man who was seen kicking and abusing the dog.
