The publisher for Eminem, Eight Mile Style, has filed a lawsuit against Spotify claiming the service has streamed his songs without properly licensing them.

According to his publisher, Spotify has not “accounted to or paid” them for streams. Instead, the service “remitted random payments which account to only a portion of the streams.”

The company is suing for what could amount to billions, but they also have another strategy that could get them about $36.45 million.

Do you think these streaming services are doing the artists dirty?
