On Friday (April 14), a YouTube account named “ghostwriter” uploaded a track titled “Heart On My Sleeve,” per HipHopDX.
The song was described as a Drake AI song ft. The Weeknd.
A Drizzy-sounding voice name-drops the Canadian singer and ex-girlfriend beauty guru Selena Gomez over the Metro Boomin’ sounding beat.
So far, the song has racked up over 130,000 views in the past two days. The Scorpion artist first heard himself rapping “Munch (Feelin’ U)” by Ice Spice through modern technology. Drake posted it on Insta Story while giving his followers a good laugh.
Do you think AI is going to be a problem for artists? How do you think this will affect the music industry in the long run?
