Drake Releasing New Project Scary Hours 3

Drake’s latest album shows his relentlessness. After dropping his new music video for “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole, The 6God dropped a trailer for Scary Hours 3 on Instagram hours later.

In the trailer, an aerial view of a car going down a quiet street at night precedes shots of Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall, where Drake’s narrative and trailer begin.

In the video’s background, Drake talks about his last album, For All the Dogs, saying he’s confident and proud of it. He references his post-album statements about taking a sabbatical. Drake says he may “disappear for six months, a year, two years, even though I’m not super into the lengthy disappearances.”

He says he wrote the new album’s tracks “in the last five days” and “didn’t have one bar written” for For All the Dogs. In his Instagram caption, he says Scary Hours 3 debuts at midnight EST tonight. (November 17).

Why do you think Drake chose to release new music? Do you think Drake should take a break?
