Cardi B Speaks Out Against Political ‘Agendas’ in the Wake of Uvalde Mass Shooting: ‘People Have Died’

Cardi B came to Twitter on Thursday (May 26) to discuss the political debate after an 18-year-old gunman killed 19 children and two teachers at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday.

“These mass shooting events are not the time for political parties or you ‘social media politicians’ to be pushing agendas,” she tweeted. “People have died! Y’all don’t care or have any consideration for what these families are going thru or how they feel or what they want. Think b4 speak.”

Cardi received backlash for her comments with some saying the conversation was necessary right now. Cardi tweeted about people who she says were “victimizing the shooter to push agendas.”

Another user, who doesn’t know Cardi very well claimed she was trying to be a “politically aware queen,” Cardi responded, “Baby I don’t give a fuvk about liberal, conservative, Republican, democrats RIGHT NOW! I give a fuck about the pain these people family [sic] are going through.” Cardi ended the conversation by apologizing to those she may have hurt with her comments.

Do you feel that politics have dehumanized society?
