A mystery Instagram account linked to Cardi B’s forthcoming album has fans hopeful that new music is on the way.
On Thursday (January 12), fans saw the Bronx-born artist had started following @albumcb2 on Instagram, reviving enthusiasm for her sophomore album.
The page has over 5,000 followers but no posts or profile pictures. It only follows Cardi B. Cardi’s studio shot on the cryptic account’s Instagram Story fueled the buzz. Brooklyn Johnny, the rapper’s early label executive/A&R, uploaded the photo.
Johnny captioned the photo, “Ya’ll Ready?! #CardiB.”
