Ariana Grande Settles Lawsuit Claiming She Stole ‘7 Rings’

Ariana Grande has settled her lawsuit for her hit song, “7 Rings.”

Hip-Hop artist Josh Stone reached a settlement after claims that a song he pitched to Universal Records was used in the recording of “7 Rings.”

Stone’s lawsuit was dismissed and although the terms weren’t discussed, “7 Rings” will remain a top hit for Grande who spent 8 weeks on top of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Grande gave credit to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein for “7 Rings” because it sampled “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music.
