2Pac ‘Dear Mama’ Docuseries Promises Exclusive Content

A new docuseries on 2Pac and his mother Afeni Shakur promises exclusive content about their unique relationship.

“Dear Mama” premieres on FX on April 21 with the first two of five episodes.

The remaining three parts will be delivered weekly on the following three Fridays. Hulu will stream the show one day after it airs on FX.

Executive producer, Allen Hughes, who also directed Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s docuseries, The Defiant Ones, says fans will enjoy the exclusive, never-seen-before, audio and video of Tupac and his mother. “But most importantly, you get to understand why he made certain decisions,” said Hughes.
