12-Year-Old Saves Drowning Man with CPR He Learned from ‘Stranger Things’

A 12-year-old boy from Wellington, Fla. saved a drowning man with help from CPR that he learned from watching the hit Netflix series ‘Stranger Things.’

Jason Piquette is a behavioral therapist who works with Austen MacMillan. The pair spend their time doing a lot of swimming.

After an underwater breath-holding exercise went wrong, MacMillan sprung into action and saved Piquette’s life.

Jason Piquette said of being saved by young Austen MacMillan, “Every doctor, everyone, has said I should be dead. I am so grateful to be alive, and so grateful that Austen stepped up and saved me.”
